Traversing Through Time Event Quest (Concept)

PoorlyMadePoorlyMade Member Posts: 55
Traversing Through Time is a multi-month event involving the main characters of Cable, Bishop, Iron Lad, and Deathlok. This quest would go on for 5 separate months and include 2 Character Reworks, 2 Character Buffs, 12 New Characters, 5 Event Quests, 5 Side Events, and one big reward of... an awakening gem of your choice (5 star for uncollected and 6 star for cavalier, this would be for completing EVERY month worth of activity). This is would all start...

The Beginning of... Time? (Month 1):
Main Event:
The event would set up the story for the event, the story being that Kang has escaped and the 4 heroes must find him, they start at conflict and learn to come together for the following events. This wouldn't be story-heavy but it would feature the introduction of Iron Lad, Wiccan, and Deathlok. Iron Lad and Deathlok are Tech whereas Wiccan is Mystic.

Time Portals:
Random Rifts appear daily with random characters in it, with the boss being one of the heroes introduced, Cable, or Bishop. These rifts give randomly colored crystals, which in return give you access to Squirrel Girl's Junkyard featuring different rewards based on the color.
Blue- Basic Rank Up Mats
Red- Class Catalysts and Iso
Yellow- Shards and Crystals
Green- Sigs Stones and Awakening Gyms
Black (Super Rare for Cav Only)- Cav Crystals and a random Featured Crystals

Wild Wild West (Month 2)
Deathlok says he might've found where Kang is and they head to the Wild West where they meet a famous member of the Sensational Seven; Two-Gun kid. Two-Gun Kid tells them of a time-traveling stranger that's been scaring the town, the group checks on him and searches around until they find... Red Wolf, who has been misplaced due to Kang's Time Traveling. After the misunderstanding and inevitable fighting, they join the hunt for Kang. There will be a Cable Rework this month as well.

Old Fashioned Duels:
Each map the summoner can only bring in 1 champion to have a duel against, they have 3 different opponents who have 3 different rewards, randomized from a pool of possible rewards. Each character comes with 2 nodes, and you can only do a duel once per day. The character you use will go on cooldown for five days afterward, if you lose they will not go on cooldown but you can't try again.

2099 Reasons to leave(Month 3):
This time Cable's tech gets hacked by someone else in the time stream sending him off course and to 2099 where they meet Spiderman 2099 who tells them about a project Alcamex is working on that could track down someone like Kang, when they take them there the tech has been stolen. They find out Daredevil 2099 had stolen it and they fight to get it back, Daredevil revealing he is working with Black Widow 2099. Spiderman 2099 agrees to join the team and they head out to stop Kang again. This would feature a Punisher 2099 Buff.

I didn't plan a side event to this, there a multitude of opportunities, just got to figure it out

World War 2 Many Problems:
In this story, Spiderman 2099's tech detects Kang in WW2 and the team travels there. There they meet Captian America (WW2)'s team of heroes including Clair Voyant, Aarkuss, and The Whizzer. The group of 4 along with our heroes make a journey to **** Germany where they find Kang who has powered up Red Skull, the group goes and attack the Skull and encounters Baron Zemo along with Red Skull, who has received a rework. They end up defeating the villains but before they can capture Kang he uses his backup plan and everyone vanishes...

Drafted to the Frontlines:
Cap WW2 has some special mission for your heroes to complete but only specifically tagged heroes can even enter the quest. These drafts release weekly with each having a class or tag requirement i.e., XL or Mercenary. These will reward you with rewards with the idea being like Mole Man expeditions but significantly easier. But don't worry if you don't have any champs of a specific tag, during this Cap can lone you weaker champs to use for a cost, a cut of the rewards.

Days of future... future?:
On the final chapter of our quest, our heroes wake up in the Future Past Timeline, Kang's backup plan and he plans to end this once and for all. The heroes encounter Rachel Summers who informs the group that Kang has hacked the sentinels and in the process of reviving his trump card... Apocalypse. The team fight there way through the sentinels and encounter a beefed-up Apocalypse, this would not be an easy fight but they pull through but Kang isn't done yet. Kang uses all of his power and powers himself up to even stronger than Apocalypse, using nodes. When you defeat Kang for the first time you unlock this month's side event. Bishop would be buffed this month as well.

(Note: You could include some other characters and make Apoc a boss but I couldn't think of any I wanted to include and Apoc is cool as hell.)

Fruits of Labor:
Once you defeat Kang, Rachel Summers still needs your help to fix this world. She has weekly bounties of high ranking powerful people (2 Targets) and a Sentinel kill list (5 a week). Once you do that you unlock Fruits of Labor (2 per week), where there are 8 reward paths based on your story status, each path containing 5 rewards all of high value. If you can complete all 8 paths you unlock a 5 Star Mutant Crystal and a 3 Star Rachel Summers.

This is just an idea and none of this is happening, though its a good way to introduce a lot of characters people want to see, you could easily add more months by going to different periods like the Prehistoric Era, other planets, etc. A lot of potential for this kind of event and the premise is good enough to do a lot with it.

    A couple more notes:

Wiccan, None of the WW2 Characters, nor any of the Villians would join the journey and be recurring characters.

I would probably change Squirrel Girl's Junkyard to something more fitting that was just a place holder
