Heavy & Light Champ reworks

With the current climate in the community one of the topics that IMHO is one of the most relevant is the general unhappiness with the performance and use of "low & mid" tier champions.
Whenever I see the amazing hard and heavy reworks that Kabam have done to champs like Colossus, Venom, She Hulk or Hulkbuster, I perfectly understand that these redesigns take some months, to program, create, test and implement.
However, I think there are a lot of champions in which their actual design have great potential if only are tweaked here and there, using the original design and abilities on their kits so the time of implementation can be quicker helping the community.
For example , take Groot.
Groot, as a cosmic should be full of buffs and as King Groot, should be a long standing champ.
- Greatly enhance his Sp2 regeneration (something between 15-20%)
- His roots should be able to get inside every armor, make his attacks completely ignore armor buffs (good against tech champs)
- No matter the crits given or taken, every 15 sec activate all the charges he has and enhance a each fury and precision, so this may give him HUGE damage intervals that are more consistent and can even be planned
- Keep his immunity to bleed and quick shrug debuff.
All this is already in his base kit and would certainly make him useful
Maybe change his sig for something like : each time charges are activated you earn also a power gain buff for x amount per second (This will make him interesting in defense and also great for questing since he could activate the regen more often)

I think each case is unique , but for reworks "one size(time frame) fits all" should not be the way moving forward.
