Abyss Nexus crystal decisions

So I managed to 100% the abyss a few days ago so I could see which t5cc I got before I pick the class nexus crystal that we should be getting sometime soon.

Now comes the decision making process on which class to pick as there are a few factors to consider.

First from the initial completion I pulled a skill t5cc which I used on fury (unduped) as I have no other good skill 6* and planned to use the generic on him anyway after 100% (haven't done so yet). I also pulled a science gem which I used on r2 Thing.

On 100% completion I pulled another skill t5cc and also a science t5cc which will be used on Thing. From the 6* shards I did pull a 6* doom (already have a r5 sig200 doom) so that was nice but only have around 30% on a mystic t5cc.

I still have to 100% act 6 so there's a t5cc and random awakening gem eventually coming from that.

So with all this to consider I'm pondering which class to pick.

Do I pick skill since I have a t5cc waiting? I could potentially get to awaken fury this way and save the generic gem for someone else. I wouldn't mind a stealth spidey either but there's not a whole lot in the skill class I'm after (have a maxed 5* aegon so not really chasing him as a 6*), could wait until hit monkey enters the basic pool before popping the crystal?

I could pick mystic class, try and awaken doom or go after some of the other great mystic champs, would love a claire, sorcerer, longshot or mojo.

I have no good cosmics, could try for a corvus or cmm (don't have either as a 5*).

Mutant I have a r2 domino and a sunspot, could try and awaken susnpot.

Tech I have a r2 sentinel (awakened) but don't have any ghost or warlock above a 4*.

Science I think is the least desirable for me because Thing going to r3 anyway.

Gut is saying go for skill and see if fury or stealth shows up. If both do then probably pick stealth and use the generic on fury. Can have 3 r3s if this happens.

Skill

Tough choice, go for skill and potentially save your generic / get a champ you can use the skill t5cc OR go for a top champ in another class and one day get the t5cc for it.

I'd say go skill, potentially saving the generic or getting another skill you can take to r3 if worthy seems to have the biggest upside

You're much better off going for a champ you really want than basing it on the t5c you currently have. You'll eventually get whatever t5c you need to rank them but this is the best chance you're going to get at targeting a specific champ.

The difference between R5s and R3s isn't near as huge as previous level gaps. You'd be much better in the long run having a champ you really want at R2 for a while than you will be having a R3 that you might not necessarily want currently

I agree with that. Ur tech and cosmic options are really lacking it seems. U already have good skill and mystic 5 stars at rank 5. Id say tech or cosmic but if ur going for prestige or just want r3 then definitely skill. However picking cosmic or tech can widen ur roster.
