KO'D during opponent Special AFTER they've been KO'D!

Has this happened to anyone else? I was fighting and KO'd the defender (had incinerate on them) during their sp2 but it hit me at the end and have them 1% health and killed me instead?

    You were probably K.O. before the defender's HP got down to 0. Simultaneous K.O. can't happen in this game

    The game even said she was KO'D but it didn't stop the SP2 she was performing.
