I feel like I just got very lucky :)

Just duped my 5 star Archangel that I got a few days ago . I was hesitant to bring him to R4 since I still don’t feel very confident using him but I think this is the sign I needed it :)

Any advice on how to make the most out of him? I am on limited data so I can’t watch YouTube videos

pulled him for the first time then duped him a week later. Had him sat at r3 for ages, not found a use for him as yet.

This is a great write up, thanks!
I hope I can dupe 5 star archangel soon! I have a mutant gem but wanted to use it on namor or omega red.

Make sure opponent doesn't have any immunity
Parry- heavy - watch them die while you smile gleefully
If poison immune he can still put in work, just takes longer
If bleed immune use someone else. He can only apply poisons to bleed immune via sp3.
If facing someone who can purify posions eg Red Hulk you can apply neuro via sp3.
If they're double immune then really really don't use him it's gonna be a boring boring long fight with a bunch of grey immunes popping up every half second
With enough neuros depending on sig level he can shut down so much at 100% AAR both defensive and offensive abilities and even some nodes like no retreat, masochism, caltrops, spite, unblockable finale.
Magik's limbo doesn't proc, Voids debuffs can fail, Hela's indestructible, DP's power gain, Modok's autoblock, spiderverse evades - if buffet is there, Venom isn't reliable, AA is.
He is good for lifecycle too, the bleed and poison are DOT but neuros are passive and still do damage. When at low health, parry, heavy to knockdown then the neuros kill them at 1% health.
    Bypass Safeguard with DOT.
Duped sig 1 = shuts down regen with 1 neuro. Even undupe, keep up posion and they reduce healing by 30%. With despair mastery the amount of debuffs he applies should shut off regen anyway.
With some practise you can use him against Thing to control rock stacks, but be prepared for a long fight. His heavy timed right can be used against Mordos astral evade even though mordo is immune to AAR (so is AA, parry Black Widow all you want).
He's a mutant champ and can place bleeds on Elsa Bloodstone, she's a piece of cake with him.
Be careful of champs/nodes that are immune to AAR. While you can neuro another AA to death you can't shut down his nodes etc.
Doesn't rely on synergies so only needs one spot on the team. Often he might not be the best choice for the boss but he sure can clear the path leaving you with 4 other close to full health champs for your boss kill..
He was my first 5/65 sig 110 before Domino, Cap IW, Sunspot and I absolutely love him.

Don't forget he's a free ticket to RTTL chapter 4!

@Deej I hope you do! If you get bored or pull another Gem you won't regret duping AA. Absolute monster but I can't deny Omega is a better champ since he isn't rendered useless by immunity. (AA is still my personal fav though)
@Kill_Grey4112 I like to forget about RttL in general lol but apart from a few fights (looking at you debuff immune nightmare rhino) he shreds it.

Btw, even in matchups against AAR immunes like AA himself, old balls, mephisto, Longshot, etc...he still sorts them out in normal scenarios with ease! (Except mephisto, he's poison immune lol)
Saving an AG for him or Colossus whenever I get either as a 5*. AA even works pretty well with suicides, damage boost and non-reliance on specials.
He sure is a typical example of an "old is gold" character!

Lol, you'll definitely be in trouble against other champs like abomb and company!

Not many better fun ways to farm potions from RoL Winter Soldier. Just beat him in 94 hits with a 5* rank 4 AA.

He’s literally a cheat code to the game! Get his sig up so neurotoxins have a 33% -ability accuracy. If you get to 3 neuros, which you can do with 1 heavy, you’ll **** down all abilities(limbo, electros static, evade) and also most nodes will be canceled out as well. Not to mention the huge amounts of health the will be losing.

He's useful in all types of content. He's still a beast in Act 6.
You were correct I found a use for him in v1 so gave him one of my mutant 3-4 gems
