Thing Synergy

So I have an Awakened 5 Star Thing that I could take up to Rank 5 immediately.

However, judging by the tutorials, he really needs The Champion Synergy as well Angela/Hela/Heimdall.

Does anyone with experience with Thing use him without the synergy? Is he really worth taking up all those roster spots?

Any advice is appreciated.

    I just pair him with human torch (more for ht than thing)... I really like him, the fight is a little slower because you have to ramp thing up but he does really good damage once ramped up! Lagacy did a video of thing with out synergies you should check it out.

    With the champion synergy, he has some really sweet damage output. But without it, he still has some really decent damage, especially on the SP3 and SP2.

    For sure is good without but the synergies let him cheese a ton of stuff at sig 200 his protection triggers a ton he is great for a ton of content including the last 10% of the champion

    No, it doesn’t matter in what order you’re picking up your champs, this is a stupid myth invented by Seatin.

    I have a 4star rank 5 thing. He is gr8 with synergy but if the synergy champs are not your top champs then dont rank him up. He can be useful with 60 furies but you cant use him effectively in short fights . But with synergy he is god...
