Does LMD destruction remove all effects? or only active ones?

The sig states that it removes all effects, but this is not the case. I was fighting doom boss in AQ today with poison and passive degen links on. I assumed that the destruction of the LMD would remove both. It removed the poison, but not the degen. Is this a bug? or am I missing something
PS. I unfortunately don't have video, because I did not expect this to happen.

    It would remove the node degen, but I'm going to guess you where above 30% health? If so it would remain as a degen until you get to 30%

    Pretty sure it's not..just poor wording. Ideally it should remove all debuffs and not passives (I've experienced it with 5.3 degen)

    It doesn't get removed even at 30 percent. It runs its entire supposed duration from what I can almost confirm

    LMD doesnt remove passive degen as far as i know.

    It removes all effects. I assume it is buffs/debuffs and passives

    it showed double degen and I died from it, so yes

    Well that's the thing. Same issue with gulk. Not all PASSIVES are PASSIVES. he does not remove warlock infections. He does not remove degen nodes
    He removes warlock's infections, he removes AA's neuros, he doesn't seem to remove OR's death spores.

    Both the Virus and the Death Spores themselves are not Damage Over Time. They LEAD to DOT, but they themselves are not. Hulk Ragnarok doesn't remove non-damaging passive effects. With the example of OR, his Face Me kicks in as soon as those spores start causing damage to be taken. But it doesn't remove the spores themselves.
