My thoughts on the new update(v28.0)

This is just a short version of my thoughts reading over 28.0.

Champs:

Air-Walker - Very high damage potential, possible insane god mode after sp3, unblockable L1 spam possibly, almost no utility. Most mystics will destroy him. Doctor Doom seems really good vs him, and also AA. Possibly a nightmare defender
Dragon-Man - relies heavily on specials, seems like the better champ of the month. Mystic hyperion. Double immunities, which is always nice.
Platpool: Too long, didn't read

Side Quest

Seems like a fantastic/doom event type thing, except with a calendar. Log in, get your item, pick whether you want shards or rank up materials. Most likely going to be a long grind. Good rewards are very necessary for this type of event. I think that herald difficulty will be a lot more difficult that this months Canadian difficulty, due to complaints from endgame players.

V5

Symbiote, mystic, and spiderverse heroes. Depending on the way they implement it, this could be either really good or just meh. It would be nice if we would use all of those in a quest, but I'm not sure if its going to happen like that. I have one good mystic and one good spiderverse champ ranked up(stealth and doom). I hope I can use both of them throughout the quests.

Boss Rushes

No info yet, but I expect some new nodes and decent rewards. At least a 5* a week for UC difficulty, as usual for boss rushes.

Other miscellaneous things

1. Domino nerf - very vague. Needs some clarification. Only good thing about domino is her damage, so I hope it doesn't change that
2. Champion Nerf: Nerfed the fight to the ground. No longer a problem for most people(unless you don't know how to dex).
3. Platpool can end auto-fights quicker. Possibly good for ROL WS farming?
4. AQ ticket costs will be split among all battlegroups. I don't know what to think of this. On one hand, its great for all map 7/6 players. On the other hand, its kinda unfair for those in alliances that do 665 or something like that.
5. Auto Complete for daily quests: Don't know what to think about this. Its a good QOL change, but I just can't see it being used often, especially considering how much energy those cost.

Thats about it, thanks for reading!

Turns out that there is no domino nerf. It was a brand new buff.

What could possibly be bad for map 665 players splitting their costs?...

It was a bug that they discovered in an internal build that never made it into the live game.

You didn’t read the Platpool spotlight, also known as the best spotlight they’ve put out?

    Shame. Shame. Shame.

I'm sorry. I know this isn't the place, but I couldn't find the right place to do it.
But, is the game down? I haven't been able to log in all afternoon.

Only thing I'm not looking forward to next month is the Side-Quest. These kind of daily events are always a grind and I assume it'll be one of those where you can't scout ahead and if you fail, you can't go in another time. Those 2 things combined with Herald difficulty might make for an impossible disaster. I just hope they play it smart.

No one is talking about it, but I am really happy they fixed Inequity. Took a few years (and some, cough, rather, eh, subpar mastery recommendations when new champs were introduced), but it finally does what it says. Kudos. I do wonder if Resonate, described similarly, was also fixed, or is still bugged, or was never bugged to begin with. If that one works correctly, a combo of physical resistance (~6%), Inequity (36 max) and Resonate (13 percent maxed) will provide a decent, if costly, cushion.

its unfair for map 5 players. They aren't playing map 6, why should they pay for it?

They still pick up the map 6 rewards so it's only right to split the cost.

If you want to do map 6, pay the full cost of it. If not, go down to map 5. These people volunteered to do map 6/7. It was their choice, and they knew that they had to pay the full ticket cost

Well I think it depends. If 2 out of the 3 BGs are doing map 6, then the lone BG that's doing map 5 should split the costs since they'll be sharing the rewards from Map 6, or the members doing Map 5 should go to another alliance that run all BGs at Map 5
