Exclusion of India from Summoner Showdown 2020

We have tried reaching the help desk at Kabam to raise this issue but no satisfactory response was received!

Nearly 20% of player base of MCOC comes from India and for god knows what reason the country is excluded from Summoner Showdown 2020.
Is there a satisfactory explanation by Kabam for excluding India from the event? The two reasons provided for exclusion ( server presence and shipping) are quite lame Atleast for a large country like India. There is got to be a satisfactory explanation to this

    The act is meant to regulate betting and gambling, it has nothing to do with prizes or competitions

    These are the gaming laws of India explained in detail
    Nothing stops people of Indian nationalities to participate in any competitions. We have reality shows where winners win upto Rs 70 million (Kaun banega Crorepati/ Who wants to be a Millionaire)

    @akg2009 Did you even read what I said? The law prevents shipping in the recording devices. If Kabam can't ship the devices for recording the fight, how will they conduct Summoner's Showdown.
    How is that a satisfactory explanation as any other modality could have been used to ensure participation from India.

    Are you from Kabam? If not, then kindly please excuse as I am looking for appropriate explanation from a Kabam team member having exact knowledge of the Issue

    Wow... the two viable reasons as to why Kabam can’t include India ‘isn’t good enough for you’? If Kabam COULD put India in the summoner showdown, they WILL.

    According to you 20% of mcoc players come from your country. WHY would kabam want to exclude much more than 20% of their players from a competition to find the best?
    Maybe because they can't do anything about it...?

    You are choosing to ignore what the law means. That's your fault. Legally Kabam cannot allow anyone from india to participate. It's because of India laws, not Kabams rules. Kabam cannot changes your country's laws.

    I don't know why you can't understand that. Kabam isn't doing this on purpose to exclude you and they aren't going to break laws to include you. Sorry that your country has laws against it. Contact your government, not Kabam.

    Read the other 20 threads about this. The answers are there, and the same as you already got here.
    And the answers from the moderators are the same as well, as you can read in the official announcement thread for it, and in other threads as well.

    Before posting something like this, please read the announcements
