AQ Doctor Doom - Expiring Buffs cause a shock

When using Aegon in AQ, whenever a True Accuracy or Fury expires whilst versing the Doctor Doom boss, it will place a shock onto Aegon. I thought Doom would only place a shock on an opponent when he nullifies a buff? Not when one expires? Would appreciate a response to this.

    Would you be able to tell us what map of AQ you were in at the time? Also was Doom's Aura of Haazareth active at the time?

    Currently running map 5, it has happened both whilst his aura is active, and when it is inactive.

    I have been recording my fights with him recently and today I decided not to and it happened twice 🤦‍♂️ Won't make that mistake again.

    Dw just tested in duels and must only be when his Aura is on and I didn't realise hitting his block shield thing was counted as contact.

    Should Aegons ability to purify debuffs cancel out the shock or would you need to crit again?

    He needs to land a Crit after the Debuff was placed to be able to get rid of it.
