That's exactly why you should always have power control on you're team.

In complete selfishness, I'll suggest reading my series of Storytime short stories. I think you may find them mildly entertaining, and there's quite a few issues to go through. It'll take up a decent chunk of time for sure.

(If your power being out is related to this hurricane I've heard of, I wish you the best. Stay safe, OP.)

If I say it, it’s not self promotion:

Hunger Games. All 3. Pretty nice read. Harry Potter 1-7 is a great nostalgia trip. Also Moby **** is great and IT if you have time to read 1000 pages+.
I could never get into the Hunger Games.
Speaking of Harry Potter, I cannot recommend Percy Jackson enough. There’s the original 5, the Gods of Olympus, the Kane Chronicles, and the Magnus Chase trilogy. Also, Trials of Apollo, which has four of its five books released.

So, in all, 20 books of reading.

u sure about that? Substitute the names out and they are almost the same lol. Very similar base plot. Person finds out that they have powers, go to some special school, learn magic stuff, learn that they are special.....

No school in PJO. There’s a camp, and a casino, but no school. Other than normal high school.

If we're recommending books - Inheritance Cycle, Kingkiller Chronicles (given you are not young...I don't want to be responsible for encouraging a more mature book to someone young), or, if you like Star Wars, the Darth Bane series (personally my favorite piece out of everything including movies related to Star Wars).
