Is Doom worth it?

Would doom be a worthy investment if I run suicides full time? I know that he throws specials a lot but I’d like to get some advice from people that use him with suicides

I run suicides and use him full time. Just avoid throwing that many specials and you'll be okay. Yes I know his rotation, but he can still be used by other ways with just throwing special 3s.

If your planning abyss or Act 6 then yes you'll need to change Masteries. If your talking monthly, then no mastery swaps aren't needed

If you are running suicides with him only use him for bosses ( don't run suicide with him )

Totally agree with the consensus: Awesome kit if you don't run suicides. If you do...obviously, you still can, but you seriously feel it

I used to use doom heaps. Then once I started using suicides more I drew away from doom. Not that he’s bad, but like others said, recoil becomes a big problem. Power gain = more specials = more recoil
I managed around 4 fights before KO

That's why I prefer Claire to Doom. She rocks Suicides regardless of recoil, as it bumps her abilities greatly. She throws specials a lot, but she can easily heal back the recoil damage back. Doom can't Regen, and requires even more specials to be thrown, therefore he'd be dead or waste items with his rotation.

With suicides, I'd take Claire over Doom any day of the week, that's a mastery I run full-time nowadays, and I'm not looking forward to getting a Doom anytime soon, as my Claire fills in for his utility very well and efficiently.
