Heralds Doom fight, pilfer node applying shock debuff

All,

It seems like the pilfer node in the Heralds of Galactus Doom fight is applying a shock debuff anytime it nullifies a buff, as if Doom was nullifying the buff with a stagger....it doesn't happen all the time since pilfer isn't 100% but a good portion of the time a full evade of Dooms SP1 results in a shock debuff on the attacker.

Anyone else seeing this? Am I missing something here?

Thanks.

It’s still a nullify which counts towards his sig

Doom's sig ability "If the opponent isn't already shocked and Doom nullifies any buff, they have a 100% chance to be inflicted with a shock debuff...."

Doom is not nullifying a buff, the pilfer node is....so unless Kabam has clarified this somewhere else the in-game description doesn't support that @Lvernon15 .

Node abilities are treated as augments to the champions abilities.

This. And also for them to change this it would require a complete redesign of node functionality, and the effort for that isn’t worth the few interactions it causes
