  He’s a good champ. Once you ramp him up. But he’s lacking some utility and the ramp up is painful, especially in high end content. In my experience anyway, I also have a 6* VTD

  I have him duped 5* r4, and he's ok. But I find even r3 venom to be better. My main concern is his random buffs - waiting the ones you want is not fun at all. You will almost always want to have 3-4 power gain, 2-3 regen, 2-3 furies/crit rate, in some specific occasion like havok - 1 armor. If they made those buffs defined by last combo, like end with 2nd light = power gain, 1st medium = regen, etc... then he would've been so much better then he is.
  Still a good 6*. He's far from being trash like karnak or ebony maw

  I have a R4 5* and a R1 6* VtD. I really want to love the character but the RNG just kills me. Sometimes you can build him up perfectly right away (in which case he is an absolute monster) and other times you can go an entire quest without being able to build him properly. Really wish they would remove the RNG aspect of him (make him operate kinda like Carnage in that different actions activate different latent buffs that you can make permanent...or something. I just hate how the entirety of the character relies on RNG).

  I don't like him. You need to build him up very slowly and he is not suicide friendly either.

  No, I am not a master in every champion. I didn't have a VTD higher than 5* r1 until this 6* so I didn't bother to learn his abilities.
