Best use of my units

I’ve been grinding away at arena (which I tolerate but don’t enjoy) in order to save for Cyber Weekend. I have 5000+ units currently.
Would it be wiser for me to just spend my units on unlocking suicides or competing the Abyss?

I don’t have Doom, Void, or Human Torch so I don’t know if Abyss is even an option (all advice is appreciated).

My main champs are (all 5/65):

Aegon
Fury
Quake
Thing
Sentinel
Warlock
AA
VtD

    You have an Aegon, so why don't you fully explore LOL? You can get some extra 5* shards to get the champions you need.

    While fully exploring LOL, I would keep grinding, but not for cyber weekend. Just keep grinding until you can have a decent Mystic Nullifier + Void or Torch...

    That means... keep saving units and start opening mystic/science crystals... you'll eventually get there and will be able to go for the Abyss.

    I saved for cyber weekend last year and then in December turned on suicides for the first time in years, no regrets.
