Is Cap IW worth a generic gem?

I recently pulled a 5* Captain America (Infinity War) and have already taken him to R4. I’ve heard his awakened ability is insane, I don’t have any 5* science gems but do own a generic. I was wondering if he is worthy of the generic gem, or whether I should wait to use it on a different champ?

    He needs that awakening, high sig. Whenever a champ needs that awakened ability I would say they are generic worthy.

    Definitely worth it..but you need to reach 200 sig level for CAPIW then you use him with any class synergy based on the situation.. was my 1st R5 champ and has helped me a lot in all content AW/AQ/EQ/Variant.
