How Is Sentinel nowadays?

Just wondering if it is a good idea to R2 my new 6* Sentinel. As you can see, I was in desperate need of double immune, my only "decent" immune champs were CG, Emma, Rhulk, HT,
CMM and Red Magneto.
I am currently at 96% act 5, Cavalier, 0% LOL, Abyss, Variants too.

if you know how to play him, he is still incredibly solid. love my r5

Sentinel was one of my first R5 champs and carried me to Cavalier, as well as completion/exploration of Variants 2 & 3. If you have your eye on those Variants to start, he could be worthwhile. He still has a lot of utility and hits hard when ramped up. However: 1) He may be good enough for you at 6r1. 2) A lot of people consider Variants 4 & 5 easier to start with. 3) He is more tedious to ramp up unawakened -- it means a lot of hitting into opponent's block. 4) For pure immunities, Emma is the queen.

After pulling Warlock and Ghost, my Sentinel is mostly relegated to AW defense these days. But I don't regret the rankup because he helped a lot in my account progression, as well as development as a player (learning to slow down and get into a rhythm for those long fights).

He is a great champion and don't matter that you pull ghost or warlock, my roster is principal tech champions, ghost, HB, guillotine 2099 and sentinel and trust me I always used sentinel. You don't need rank up him, at max level at rank 1 he is so powerful, you just need to learn his paly style. His shock and incinerate damage and critical resistance are so powerful.

Once you go Warlock, you never go back. Sentinel is for me a champion that doesn't live up to its potential.

I have him sat at r1 after waiting an eternity for him to 100% v3 ended up just using ghost, tech boosts & some units. He will stay at r1 now out of pure spite for showing up late to the party.

Side note I need a warlock now, wonder when he'll show up lol

i’m suprised you’re not cavalier yet tbh. i’m at the 6.1.5 crossbones with a roster of 4/55 5*. seeing that the big roadblocks in cav runs is the biohazard crossbones i would say go for the sentinel rank up. you’ve got cmm for caustic temper and other than that you’re 100% ready to make a cav run

Sentinel is a very solid champion. He won’t wow you exactly, but he’s a champion that does a lot and does it well. I took mine up to r2 and I have never regretted it.

Okay, to make things clear, I AM Cavalier, it just seems like i can't write. I've tried him, but I think i can do more damage with others, but he has great utility and he is my only great robot so far, and Im still learning to play him.
I think I will hold on resources for a while and decide later, I could get instant R5 material like NF or Colossus, then I would 100% regret those cats on him. Thanks for the answers so far.

Just try to pass across 1.1.2 cavalier difficulty with warlock then you try with sentinel and let us know which of them is more useful.

Sentinel is the workhorse of the tech class. He can do pretty much everything well. He is better awakened though, I’m happily sitting on my R5 Sentinel with 0 regrets.

Personally I'd bring that Aegon up 1st. I have 5/65 Sentinel and he's very useful. Always on my AQ team. It's a lot of resources though.
