Apocalypse being defensive.

It’s pretty much easy to point out before this character is released that he’s going to be next to impossible to beat in war and here’s why. If he’s stubborn global the only way to remove indestructible is by the opponent touching your block. Apocalypse Stunz you when he touches your block.........
if you get stunned in any fight especially a Bossfight it’s over. So how the heck are you supposed to beat Apocalypse on anything stunn immune with stubborn that’s pretty much a global default For teams? No one wants to rank up bishop because he’s stunn immune while blocking
Nick fury health pool is going to be way too small for a 400 K apocalypse boss
Emma frost fighting a 400 K boss is unheard of.
The AI faithfully hits in to your block five times during war. There’s no way around it and if there is, it’s probably going to be just one way which will require invulnerability boost in extreme luck. He needs the defensive tag removed unless this company can explain to us The meaning of making a character that stunns you while hitting your block with a global node such as stubborn?

Bring robots in and only use them, he cannot get the ability to break stun then

He’s not classified as a robot

If you think about it is actually really nothing you can do. His third special has a chance at damage over time so that even takes invulnerability boost out of the question. Ghost needs to block a defensive champion So she will get stun and die. Removing the indestructible will result in your death even if there’s a cool down we’re talking about 400 K health. You’re going to have to remove that indestructible Tons of times which will make him next to impossible.

Don’t give me wrong I understand what you mean if you just attack him with non-robots he won’t get that fourth genetic code but even with three his prowess Will be increasing his special attacks so crazy that blocking it is going to be devastating enough to kill you. Trying to get multiple players to bring all robots and do their lanes as well as asking a lot especially to any stubborn boss and you can only fight with non-robots. Even losing all the attack bonus you still have to use Robots to avoid that forth genetic code or else it’s just dying over and over and over. I’m just pointing it out now before he’s released and this conversation gets started up all again even though I’m bringing it up now

🧐I think Prof. X is more annoying than Apocalypse. I had no problem with him in uncollected with Corvus. In fact, I only lost about 25% health.

Same. Prof x had that falter but is so distracting too look at. Apoc was real easy with g99

Gosh, fighting Apocalypse with four stars in Cavalier was a nightmare. Having him start at 4 charges is too high. He’s too good of a defender. I’ll have to see how I do against him with my real champs next though

I’m referring to apocalypse with the global node stubborn. When he gets indestructible from evade miss or dex, how is the attacker going to remove it? By letting apocalypse hit your block Then you get stunned and die. Maybe there’s one or two counters out of the 100+ characters in the game And they still don’t seem reliable. Lose all attack bonus and still have to keep fighting him with robots to avoid him getting a fourth charge Just to get him down, that’s stupid. You fight with a non-robot he gets his fourth charge then anytime he goes indestructible your dead with any character. Your robots will get stunned from trying to remove indestructible after the fourth charge.

I was just reading Apocalypse Spotlight in regards to his genetic code enhancement.

    1. If he is placed as a boss final node, then he begins the fight with 3 genetic code. At 4 genetic codes he gains the ability to stun you when striking your block with a light attack.
    2. In order for him to gain an additional genetic code, he must knockout a non-robot opponent. Which means you MUST fight him with ROBOT ONLY. The only Robots in the game are Nebula, Darkhawk, Dragon Man, G2099, Sentinel, Ultron, Vision, Warlock according to Kabam new tag system.
    3. if by any chance, you forget step 2, and fought him with a non-robot, and lose the fight. then good luck to whoever goes in next. RIP
    4. But! it says in his spotlight, if you perform a well time block, this ability to stun you/while hitting your block won't apply. So let him dash at you, and perform a well time block to remove indestructible and then retaliate if possible.

And with all that being said. yes Kabam please removed The defensive Tag from Apocalypse. It is just too unfair for the player base to deal with so much disadvantage right from the get go.

Proxima Midnight is an option. She decreases offensive ability accuracy by 200% while blocking. She has good synergies with Aegon and Corvus. But then again, it is excessive to have only two counters for one champion on one particular node.

This will be a problem I can see it already. Remove the defensive tag or it will be a revive party. I can only see G2099 as a viable option but his specials are so damn hard to evade block damage will kill her.
