Generic 2007 5* 3 to 4 rang up gem not usable

Hi,
I finished Variant 5 and got the 3 generic 3 to 4 rank up gems. I've used one on Starky and wanted to use one on Colossus.
The problem is that I have a mutant 3 to 4 rank up also that can be used on any mutants. I want to keep that for Omega (or something better).
When I try to use the generic gem on Colossus, I can't find him.
Did anyone find a away to use it?

    U have to open a ticket and they can do it on their end. That's the only way right now.
