Korg is an alien and Agent Venom has the symbiote, but neither are Cosmic 🤔
Korg is an alien, but he doesn't utilize any cosmic energies or weapons, and all his "damage" comes from the bleeds on his SP2 coupled with armour breaks. As for Agent Venom, he does possess the symbiote, but he uses it to enhance his fighting skills, and he doesn't really utilize any buffs, so I think it makes sense that he's a skill character.

What cosmic energies or weapons does Drax utilize? Or Gamora? They're both Cosmic because they are aliens.
U should go and read the comics and send posts. Ur some points r correct even I think so but many r wrong. Doom Is mystic and correct read comics, don't always believe what movies show. They change the comic content and then show to make them more interesting. MCOC brings champs from comics and their bio is also taken from comics. For eg. In movie doom gets powers from cosmic radiation but read his bio and search on Google and u can read and get it from comics too.

I've wondered about this too when looking for logic in who gets classified cosmic. I like Korg being in the skill class because he's just a big rock guy who fights good and happens to come from another planet. But by that logic, maybe Groot should be skill too?
On the other hand if the main criterion for cosmics is not being from earth, Aegon and Kang would like a word. Or if it's a class for champs with cosmic-derived powers, it would seem like the right spot for Fantastic Four.
The lesson, as always: things are the way they are because Kabam says so.
Also it seems likely that some of these decisions come down not to well-reasoned arguments but to someone at HQ saying "hey we have too many good cosmics, put the Fantastic Four in... um... (*consults class wheel*)... science!"
If I remember correctly, kabam openly admitted to making a mistake with green goblin and that he was originally meant to be a science champ. Which is also why he’s the boss in the science quest in 5.3

Star-Lord and Yondu should be Cosmic too.
