I need help with Support

So today I dicided to rank my Collossus to r4. I have a generic 2017 Stone and a Mutant stone too. I wannted to use the generic stone but the game doesn't show the option. So as I already did bevor with Magneto, I wrote support (german support). The guy now is saying that ist not possible since the stone is only for heroes bevor 2017. I tried to explain to him many times that Colossus came to the game bevor 2017.
He just close the issue and told me it is not possible to do Colossus with this stone. So am I missing something?

I might be deadly wrong here but the 2017 gem is only for champs that got released only in that year.So you probbably need the gem from v1 to rank colosus.

Nope... the gem is for heroes bevor end of 2017... and like I said, I did Magneto with it too
