I thought the changes were going to make it LESS likely to give us teams of 2x our teams PI? I’m getting these type of matches every other round! Sort it out!

    There's already a mega thread on this.

    The intention was NEVER to eliminate opponents that are 2x your team! If you can't beat 2x teams, you have some skills to develop.

    It’s not that I can’t beat them. I can. It’s just that the mail said it was less likely to happen that you get these hard match ups, and now it is actually more likely. I did look to see if there was a thread about this already but couldn’t see one. I’ll take a look now

    Those matchups were all more than 2x, dummy. I’ve encountered the same thing in the 5* arena and even if you can keep your streak going, the fights take much longer, making arena even more of a time-consuming grind than it was before. Silly me, I thought that was the problem they were trying to solve.
