Does Role Reversal Actually Work?

Every time I come across a “Role Reversal” node, it is not reflected in the PI of the characters during the fight. Has any ever done any testing that verifies whether or not this is true?

Ok but can anyone explain what is the global node "WARNING! A third special attack has been activated" I really do not understand what that node means because it changes... Nothing? Please clarify it's meaning

Otherwise, they can't activate their third special attack. It's pretty self-explanatory.

Oh I get it now. Wow I always thought it was just an empty node. But one question, if that node is not present in a quest, does it mean they can't do an sp3?
