I think this shows how big of a disconnect there is between this company & the players. I stopped wasting my time on this event because the effort involved is nowhere near the miniscule rewards. They've been told time & time again that people absolutely loathe these setups, and they quite possibly go ahead with the worst one yet. It's borderline disgraceful. And to add another shot, they take out the easiest one for beginning players, and the second "easiest" one has people with 9k+ PI's?!? I truly feel for all the beginners & mid-tier people this month. Just ridiculous.
My thoughts line up a lot with this comment. It seems we're doing the old tried and true Kabam "one step forward and two steps back" thing this month. I'm very tired of the whiplash, there's no consistency and that was something that led to the outrage earlier this year and the need for a roadmap/reckoning in the first place. The difficulty at the top this month is completely unnecessary, the grind is mind numbing, the design of the boosts and nodes in legendary are frustrating, boring and not fun whatsoever. More and more it feels just like who they were catering everything toward with Act 6 and 7 before the changes, which is even more confusing and makes me not have faith they took the road map seriously. There's been some positives that came out of it, but then we get this month and I wonder if the same team who rolled all of that out is talking to the ones who were in charge of the realignment earlier this year.
And as of right now, this player who usually dropped over $500 every 4th of July and Cyber Monday cycle isn't spending at all this year. I'm not able to get the new Thronebreaker title because the RNG didn't give me the right class yet, so I'm already going to be gated through no fault of my own (by something Kabam said they were delaying and then went right ahead and plowed through on) - and now this month has left such a bad taste I am not even worrying or attempting to grind the side event or cavalier difficulty on the monthly. I just don't care at this point. I don't think I'm alone either if we're going by the feedback we've seen on here, social media and reddit/youtube. If we're having to question and remind Kabam about the road map they just made and how this month doesn't line up with it, why should I believe it's heading in a better direction?
I'm sure I'm going to have the "git gud" brigade that lives on this forum attacking me for saying this but I really don't care - I just want Kabam to know how I'm feeling. I'll praise them when they nail something and criticize them when I think they haven't. I lead an alliance of long time players who all feel the same way. We're tired and have whiplash from everything this year, and it's not getting more fun and making us want to play at the same level we did before. I assume that was a big goal with their road map, and to retain long time veterans who are pushing for end game rewards and content. I play this game for fun, not torture and hours to get through a side quest for average rewards. Next month doesn't sound exciting at all and the champs are uninspired. I would need to see a drastic shift before I change my mind about spending for CM.
Cannot do anything on master this one while i cleared everything last month which was in my first 2 weeks of playing so i have stronger champs now but cannot progress as much. And on top of that i have to do the other stuff to get keys which is alot easier. And that 20k champion in the end is just well done, and goodbye
The fact that it has Heal Block for the entire Hades Invasion is terrible. Thousands of players use suicide mastery will definitely hate it including me.
Yeah, it's "Hades realm", so it justify to put on an immunity boost that also gives advantage to opponent in the side quest. Fun but definitely a terrible idea particularly the Coldsnap immune where opponent gains evade charge.
The Legendary difficulty is definitely the hardest one which I don't know if the real endgame players would enjoy it.
For me - someone that's a semi-endgame player - don't like the Legendary difficulty Hades Invasion.
It also takes so much time. There are Cavalier and Master difficulties that I need to do
The rewards were fine, they aren’t awful, especially since you couldn’t do all difficulties. It just didn’t need the key/soul gathering component. That’s what really dragged it out and made it grindy
Being honest, I just used souls to buy the last week and a bit of keys in all difficulties. I haven’t touched the limbo quest (the key/souls one) in weeks
October side quest event was horrible but i'm glad it is almost over. For legendary and epic i almost did them all like 80-90%. what i didn't like was the grind you have to go thru to get them rewards. thats why is called side event. leave the grind for the main event quest.
Also why few months back with the herald side quest we got 10k 6* shards and ever since we haven't come close to it. Rewards are supposed to be progressively getting better because them lose value within time. so they should be getting giving a little bit more every more and not less.
