actually yes they can.. in the same class even cmm and corvus with power boosters could do it easily too

Hype is not only about damage, unlike corvus or cmm. He can just spam sp1 and deal with stuff like safeguard. Making no contact except 1st hit, his sp1 a great option for thorns, electro and stuff like that. You can spam sp3. You can intercept with specials a lot. If there's something punishing buffs, you can just max fill power and fight with 3 cosmic charges without triggering any buffs. Sp2 gives pretty long armor break. Spam heavy for great damage.
Have a look at cav. Hype works for diss track and buffed up. The only chapter he'd be bad for is mutant biohazard. But even that might be doable, I think, if you hit and block and spam sp3, if sp3 won't trigger biohazard bleed. And he doesn't need any extra fights to ramp up.

I had to choose between taking Duped CMM to r5 or duped Hype to r5. Maybe if I’d had Fury above 4* I might have chosen CMM... who am I kidding?!? It was always gonna be Hype. All my alliance mates thought I was nuts

Hype is Great, slightly lacking utility but I like Damage champs over Utility champs anyways. Everyone seems to forget he can regen too, not that it's a crazy regen or anything but it's there.

I love him the cosmic king so many ways to play him dude hits like a tank great energy resistance, underrated Regen which can heal like 50% HP ability to spam specials is awesome.

He's actually got utility. That power gain alone is a massive amount of utility. As mentioned above, spamming specials can get by a lot of things like thorns, Electro, evaders, nodes like special delivery etc. He can handle both diss track and buffed up( although I think CMM is better for those two nodes). He's got thicc energy resistance, armour break, stun cheese, regeneration and crazy damage. I'm probably forgetting something and while on paper it seems his utility might be limited, it's a lot more than you'd think.

For some things yes, for other things no. If I could only ever have one or the other, I think I would choose Hype. That may be only because I haven't had Corvus for as long. But it's also because some of Corvus's value comes from being able to cheese AQ fights and they have said they are going to fix that. Here's hoping they take their sweet time. Funny how the "They always rush to fix bugs that benefit the players" crowd has been silent on this...

His regen is underrated imo. I use it all the time and have taken him from low health to full many times.

even seen tigra in the forums kill masestro quick. its not a hard fight
I saw that fight and it wasn't done in 30 secs... It was just over 40 secs
i said quick not 40seconds or 30seconds like I said its an easy fight whats their to not get a quick kill
atleast magneto killing hard stuff like 6.3.5 boss mysterio is worthy of a quick kill showoff

maestro doesn't even have a hard to deal with node. he's just health and dex the sp1 show your skills thats it

exactly. thats my point. whats the big deal in killing maestro? there are so many better hyperion fights to show when maestro can be killed just by anyone

i killed that level maestro with only a rank 2 5* snd then i see people bosting about killing him with rank 5 5*
