Powerful from afar

This node is getting frustrating. When they activate a special, why should they be gaining power? There is no way to stay "close" to the opponent while they mash specials. It seems broken to me. And please don't come in comments talking about counters to the node. The node is not fun and dumb imo. The power gain is fine. But the power gained should be paused during specials

    He still basically shuts it off regardless with the stagger on heavy, nullify on sp1, and power drain with aura active.

    Like I said. I get counters for the node. But u can't always use the champ u WANT to use. Like buffed up in cav difficulty for example. Pairing this with buffed up was just dumb imo

    True, he does, but getting the power gain yourself is what makes it seem broken, like you're cheating, if u know what I mean lol

    Nova was really the only tricky one. It actually helped with thing. Made it easier to get him back to a bar of power at 15 rock stacks if he was under after throwing a special when you didn't want him to

    @Worknprogress yea nova was the pain spot. I used mags and got the 3 prowess easy enough. But his specials cause so much unavoidable spacing that he just spams specials

    I just blasted him with CMM. Was usually able to get him down before the indestructible wore off. I think once I had to clean up with someone else but there wasn't much left

    I found the buffed up chapter of cavalier EQ ok to be honest. I used 6* rank 1 Angela for most fights and 5* rank 5 red mags for any tricky fights like nova.

    I know you said you don’t want counters OP but i disagree with you saying the node is broken. It’s challenging but fine as is IMO.

    Powerful from afar is like that last node that needs to be nerfed lol. There's so many infinitely more annoying nodes out there, powerful from afar is like a cakewalk compared to them.

    Was overthinking cav nova. He was easy with mags baiting heavies. But I still hate this node
