Building a Cavalier Team

Need advice on building my team for Cavalier. I have 12 T2ACs and plenty of T4CC. I have 2 mystic, 2 cosmic and 1 generic 5* Awakening Gem. These are most of my 5*s I have a few others but I don’t think they’d help at all.



Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

PS if I don’t have the right champs yet I still have to 100% act 5 so I can wait for more awaking gems if need be.

    Awaken omega and nick and rank them up.
    Rank up medusa as she just kills the 6.1.2 ultron and 6.1.6 sentinel bosses.
    Corvus will be very helpful here such as against biohazard Sentinel in 6.1.2.
    Omega , claire and medusa can be used against 6.1.5 crossbones . Omega is the better option though he needs high sig.

    @Sarvanga1_ does Medusa need to be awakened for that?

    And if I could only pick one, Nick or Omega which should I awaken? I was leaning Nick to use in war defense.

    Both Medusa and Corvus are in the running for a cosmic awakening gem. Don’t use the mystics on anyone unless you really like voodoo. The generic can either go to omega or fury. It’s your choice but I personally would pick omega and I use an awakened 5* fury all the time. I just like omega better and he’s also the safer option because you don’t have to play him at really low health. Medusa doesn’t need to be awakened but it does boost her damage a lot. I wouldn’t base who you are going to use the gem on off aw defense. I’d rank up fury, Medusa, omega, and red guardian to rank 4 ASAP.

    Oh, and what’s your mastery set up look like because all of your champions have really low pi? Or maybe I’m dumb and the screen were looking at doesn’t factor in masteries.

    Just to add on to what everyone's already said, I'd use the generic on Omega if you run suicides, Nick if you don't. And I'd personally use the Cosmic on Corvus as he'd get a lot more use even though Medusa needs it more.

    Ok, it must just be the screen then. To be honest my masteries are a lot more budget than yours so that can’t be the cause.

    @Will3808 it is the screen because I know my corvus is 10k at least. Where you able to finish 6.1 with masteries like these?

    I am currently in the midst of getting Cavalier too. At 6.1.5 now and so far i can definely vouch for OR and Medusa as top contenders.

    I say Medusa is a MUST for you Cavalier, specially since you don't have Res Mags. So I'd say rank up Medusa and awaken her. She doesnt need high sig. loteeally duped with one sig is all you need cuz waht you're after is the furies that come with the awakening, the auto block won't sace you at all in Act 6. She will be you go to Champ for 6.1.2, 6.1.3 ( Ghost) and 6.1.6.

    I dont have NF but I fo have OR, and yeah hes a beast. For getting Cav.. problem is that although he is 100% worthy of the generic gem, you'd aslo need to put several sig stones, idieally at 140 at least. Suicides do help but remember that another utility that OR is poison and basically Bleed immune, something NF ( when applied pre and post LMD that is). But if u dont have the sig stones to ramp up OR sigs, then rank up and ise generic on NF.

    Third one to rank one is a toss up. I'd probably go Corvus, as he will be good without awakening ( Medusa needs awakening waay more than Corvus does)

    @Ethereality thanks for the advice! I am going to see how far I can get with mudusa at r4 and keep everyone else where they are. Don’t want to use my generic on OR and not be able to get him high enough.

    If you don't have the sigs for Omega I'd say awaken NF. He's much better from it and only needs sig 1.
