Mysterio chemical gas

When throwing my special 3 with Mysterio the gas isn’t being converted into poisons. I have 3 chemical gas as I throw the special 3, but after it there’s no poisons on the defender at all.

    The chemical gas don't turn into poison. They extend the duration of the frenzy gas.

    In his description it says for Special 3: mysterio gains a frenzy has passive lasting 10 seconds and all his Chemical gas is consumed, each adding 4 seconds to its duration

    Uhhhh yeah? It increases the duration of the frenzy gas, it doesn't add poison debuffs

    "Mysterio gains a Frenzy Gas Passive lasting 10 seconds and all his Chemical Gas is consumed, each adding 4 seconds to its duration."

    This means that after an sp3, Mysterio gains a passive ability that lasts 10 seconds base. +4 seconds for each Chemical Gas he had before launching the sp3.

    Mysterio was a newly acquired 5* for me and took him right to R5 without using much. Thanks for helping me understand this here, I was confusing it and thinking the special 3 would convert the chemical gas into actual poisons on the defender.

    If he did that he would be so much better. But yeah you build up the gas again and then heavy to get the poison

    Ideally you’d want to build up gas for sp3 for a big attack boost then rebuild gas for a very potent poison if that helps any😂 he’s an amazing Domino counter too FYI lol
