Edit: I didn't see your roster. I'd save the gem for a little while.
If you don’t run suicides you’ll want to awaken Both nick and aegon and they’re top options to use gems on. No one on your roster that is usable daily for major content needs the dupe.
CapIW , omega red , magneto (i have two accounts with one sig 50 other not duped and the duped one is worth it imo) , Arch Angel , Wolverine , Hyperion , Gardian, stark spidey , and void are all champs you can pull that would help you with AQ Or end game stuff that the generic could be there for.
If you had more gems I'd say you can spend it, but there are plenty champs you dont have, that will use waking far more. (CapIW, Hypes, CMM, on and on..) And even next month champs might be top tier, with awakening, so you have plenty of reasons to keep the generic.
He just gets the chance to roll up to 3 buffs at the start and gets more potency on them. This is coming from someone that did very nearly use a generic on Venom (and I will if I get another one before a cosmic).
Also in the long run all other champs will be eventually duped, devaluing the 5* AG if used on them.
Put a lot of signatures into him and you have the top passive power control champ in the game.
If he is max signature and you are used to his synthesis timer, the opponent won’t fire a single special the entire fight.
People are massively sleeping on him.
I use mine in act6 exploration, and he is amongst my top3 MVP’s.
He can give solutions to many annoying fights 😉
On the other hand, you can Awaken him the next time he's on offer, probably for 1000-1500 units.
There are more Awakening gems in the game than ever. Don't hold onto it forever...
