Cavalier and act 5 completion

jaysavagejaysavage Member Posts: 348 ★★
Hey all, i just completed 5.3 with no revives, I'm going to try to push for act 5 completion after that. Once I get act 5 done, should I push for cavalier straight after or wait a couple months. My roster right now for act 6 would probably be, Vision Arkus 5star R4, Aegon 5 star R4, BWCV 6star R1, Ghost 5star R4 and either Sym supreme, BW (DO) or stealthy(all at 5star R3). I am so close to my next 6 star (2000 shards away, act 5 completion gives 2500 6star shards so... yay!) Do you think this roster would be good enough for Cavalier? Also, at what level did you guys get Cavalier?

Ghost can get you through a lot of stuff. You could do it if you save some units and are really savvy with ghost.

@Grootman1294 I'm ok with ghost. The only thing I'm bad at is getting crits on all her special hits. I don't have wasp unfortunately.

Might take you a few revives but if you max boost and play well you should easily be able to get cavalier

For that you wanna dash back and immediately swipe your finger down to lightly tap the sp2. One fluid, round motion across the screen basically.

Think of a sideways Nike emblem where your finger starts on the smaller part of the check and curves/lifts up at the thick part, finishing the check at the sp2 button. That'll trigger the sp2 immediately after phasing and get you guaranteed crits on each part. Since you don't have Wasp, start the motion when the opponent dashes in at you (this is gonna take practice - watch KT1's video on it) to make sure they don't/can't block.

Just went through Act 6 Completion using Ghost without Wasp. Difficult, but very doable. Also makes you feel like a frickin' finger ninja.

As for your roster, you have what you need. Go for it dude!

I was in a similar situation last week. I decided to push ahead and went from 5.3 to Cavalier in a week. If you aren't relying on 4* for Act 5 I bet you can do it. I'm an average player, in terms of skill, at best. If you can intercept, bait specials, and dex you'll be ok as long as you've got some decent r4 and some potions/units. If you aren't solid on those skills then yeah practice in Act 5 before moving to act 6. If you aren't in a rush wait until after halls of healing and that'll help you push ahead.

@MaxtheSilent I consider myself pretty good. I can intercept 75% of the time. I can dex a lot of hard specials. Like comsic ghost rider sp1 and 2, mojo sp2, cable sp2, scarlet witch (sigil) sp2, etc. I cannot dex iron patriots sp1 however. I'm ok at baiting specials.

You'll do great I'm sure. Good luck!

You either want to parry and throw it immediately (make sure you didn’t dash back prior) or hold block when you are at a distance or somewhat close (make sure the guaranteed crit buff is not on) and wait for them to dash in. As soon as they do, dash back and throw your special
