The amount of better that Fury and CMM are compared to Moleman and Terrax could easily win two of february, april, june, september or october for 2019.

You comparison only favors 2020 because you wasted two of 19's greatest hits on both of 20's biggest misses

Judging champions month by month to determine the overall winner is very flawed in my opinion.

I think rating per month is a bit of a weird system, because it's not really which year was better but like an electoral college sorta thing

This is such a horrible way to compare the champs quality

I’m always up for constructive criticism hit me. What could improve
Obviously the order of release in now ay cintributes to champ quality. So let me rearrange the pairs of champs released in 2019

(All these are of Auntmai so forgive discrepancies)

    3. HT, Cull
    4. Thing ,Stealthy

    6. G99, Havok
    7. Namor, SS
    8. Mysterio , MF
    9. Vision, Annihilus
    10. Elsa,IW

    12. Ronin, Manthing

    And for 2020

    1.storm X , Dragon man
    2. Longshot, Mojo
    3. Red goblin, Squirrel girl
    4. Hit monkey, White widow
    5. Guardian, Proffessir X
    6. IHilk, iAbom
    7. Red guardian, sasquatch
    8. Moleman , Nova
    9. Red goblin, Tigra

    4. 2019
    5. 2019
    6. 2019
    7. 2019
    8. 2019
    9. 2020
    10. 2020
    11. 2020
    12. 2019

    Boom!
    2019:10+-3
    2020:2+-3

Based on personal preference and matchups scores may vary slightly

2020 compared to 2019 is lacking quality in terms of champs.
Overhauls and synergies save it for 2020. Otherwise it would have been a mediocre year overall.
2018 is still the best year, followed by 2019.

    Mr. Sinister > Longshot

    I said it

Interesting can I hear why? I don’t think sinsters awful just curious. I haven’t found much use for him
While Longshot has the flashy damage on the sp2, Mr Sinister has a lot of utility.

Plus, he’s basically sp3 spam if played right, with the power leech and heavy combo. The concussion is also pretty decent (especially in conjunction with the sp3 heavy) and he is just capable of so much more in general than Longshot. (This was brief, I’m sure a Mr Sinister expert could tell you everything, as I’ve yet to pull him above a two star)
Lol. My 4* longshot even without buffs can deal 8K incinerates and has 2K damage crits on mediums. As for utility he nullifies every buff in the game so I don't understand what you mean. Also, mr sinister has interesting nicknacks like the Heavy combo, but that at the end of the day isn't a utility. It's like calling Rhino's heavy charge a utility. Longshot does far more and has one of the highest DP's in the entire game. Sinister is practically a "fun champ" in comparison.
All Longshot can do is nullify for his utility (and the super niche utility of copying a buff). You literally only mentioned Longshot's damage and brushed over his lack of utility. Mister Sinister can pause stun debuffs or any debuffs for that matter and chain sp3s like he's Namor. Concussion is an important part of his kit and he has lots of them too. Sinister is also very user friendly because of his crit regen ability and debuff transferring with the sp1. Can block unblockable specials and is immune to reverse controls as well. And this is all without him being a horseman of apocalypse or having prof x on his team.

Chaining sp3's is a nice ability, the immunities are cool, and the Concussion is also nice, but other than that, all those other abilities are just for fun. Debuff transfers are alright, but its not helpful in act 6 when the debuffs tick for like 2K a second. Longshots damage is far better than any sp3 Mr. S activates.

Also, a full nullify is a HUGE utility. You act like that doesn't stop so many buffs like Unstoppable, some evade mechanics, Unblockable buffs, power gains, regens, insane armor, etc.

Longshot is a bit overrated I do agree, but he for SURE isn't on the level of sinister

    peace
Scarlet Witch has a nullify yet she doesn't even come close to Sinister's level. Nullify is something that almost every mystic has and although it has its uses it isn't good enough of a utility to be the only utility a champion has, otherwise they fall short of today's utility standards.

Longshot is overrated, but he has a reliable damage output through dot, as well as a auto nullify from the signature ability. He also counters ability accuracy reduction and the bypasses auto block by a degree in stunable matchups.

That's not a hot take, it's a bad take. An incorrect take.

Warlock, G99, CMM, Doom, Claire, HT, NF, Stealthy, Namor, Havok, and more all dominate the meta.

Hey man. Just my opinion. I think mainly on a month to month basis the 2020s are better. If it was just one on ones 2019s are better. Doing it just based on month to month I think 2020s are better.
Not sure what difference month to month makes, even assuming you are correct. If the 2019 champs are better, then the 2020 champs aren't better lol. What difference does it make if the 2020 champs released in March or any particular month were better than the 2019 champs in the corresponding month?

Please do enlighten me. Because after giving him lots of chances as a duped 5*, I just cannot get behind him. Maybe I'm playing him wrong, or I don't know. It's just so much management for so little damage.

I always felt like one thing Annihilus needed was some kind of Armour Shatter than would last significantly longer than the Armour Breaks, kinda like how if you get Human Torch's temperature high enough it actually stays there for a period of time or how Nick Fury's Bleeds convert to a passive if you get 8 of them. If you got lets say 8 Armour Breaks on a champ, they could convert to a Armour Shatter that would last for like 8 or 10 seconds, long enough to get a hard hitting SP2 or SP3 in. I haven't used him for a ton of content but he's a character that feels good to play as long as something isn't specifically restricting his utility (like debuff immune or something).
