Guillotine 2099 vs Hulkbuster

I recently got a second 5 star Tech champion (Guillotine 2099). I almost have enough resources to get either her or Hulkbuster to rank 3. Which should I choose? Also, I'm not amazing at combat, does 2099 lose too much value if you cant get over 100 hit combos?

3 star The Champion 4/4 (to buff Mephistos attack 90%)

    Both have permanent armor ups, power control, and the potential for regen (if Hulkbuster is duped). Personally, I'd go with Hulkbuster any day of the week. Guilly2099 has a much higher max potential but only after lots of hits or an L3, and one slip can knock you all the way back to the start. Hulkbuster takes almost no ramp up - a few heavies and a special 1 and you're already doing solid damage. Even without the heavies, the massive armor break on his specials means he has better damage than some people realize.

    If you're worried about keeping the combo then Guilly is probably more stressful than helpful. Hope this helps and good luck on Uncollected!

    Awesome, thank you very much. I think I will just use the Guilly for alliance defense then.
