Champions added to dual crystals

Okay so I’ve searched the forum for any thread on this so, if there is one I couldn’t find it, sorry.
When a new champ is added to the 5* basic pool, are they also added into the dual class crystals? Looking to open mutant/skill soon, and have hopes of finding Apocalypse there too once he’s added to basics tomorrow.
