Outside of synergies, where is his damage?
I just duped him and got a skill rank up gem from 7.1 completion.
Not sure if I should use it. Never use him, I did in the past as a 5* and never saw much there.

bleed damage, and then reverberation while true strike is active gives even more damage
Didn’t work the second time I did it in the same fight.
For spider verse champs I have venom. The only other place I can think of is for Medusa, modok, and other auto blockers.
But his TS isn’t on all the time, and I don’t see a way to activate it

Activate his true strike by hitting an opponent recovering from a special attack. This makes him OP against some tricky evade and auto blocks champs. Just bait, punish, repeat.
SP1 gives him charges that activate unstoppable when blocking a hit. Useful for certain nodes and getting out of being backed into the corner.
SP2 gives him 3 indestructible charges. These can tank an SP3 with zero damage of there's no DoT effect on the attack.
He gains power crazy quickly when inflicted with a DoT debuff, which coupled with his Void synergy makes him crazy against some nodes like Biohazard, Icarus etc.
His single bleeds aren't a great source of damage, but are enough to eg. control Thing's rock stacks. His combined bleed can stack up to 50 once per fight on the SP3. He melted Medusa in 6.3 for me all 3 times.
Never regret taking that guy up! If I would have a duped 6* I would rank him as well.
Others already explained pretty well in what way he is useful, so I won't bother you with more stories about true strike, being indestructible and stacking a massive amount of bleeds.. I will keep it at 'Congratz on duping him, good pull'

But he’s a great champ and requires a moderate level of skill to utilize correctly.
Shorter version. If you have to ask...: he’s not the champ for you.

Duped is beneficial for damage out put.
Sp2 Indestructable.
Sp1 for unstoppable. So if he hits u in block once you can insta dash in for a combo.
I always use mine with my r5 void and r2 6* WS. KM removes debuffs and heals himself i think 4% of HP per debuff. In intercepts he gets true strike with WS and Void also heals 1% per debuff applied and WS gets massive 500% attack boost (5 per hit)
Even without that, Killmonger is a utility champ with okay (but not amazing) damage; but it's better if you work for it. His bleed don't stack; do back off and let them work. His overall damage benefits from high Sig and Deep Wounds to increase it. Watch out for the grey 'Bleed counter' that appears once you've inflicted 15 bleeds.
Against WS, it's fairly easy to rack up 50 bleeds at which point pop an SP3 and watch your opponent melt away. Preferably with Reverberation/True Strive active for the increased damage.
My 5/65 KM inflicts bleed for 10,000/tick in this scenario, for a total of about 177,000 bleed damage. No synergies required.
