**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.
There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.

Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

AW attack phase?

Is the attack phase only limited to players who placed defenders, or the leader appoints the players who can come in attack phase in AW?

Attack Phase is reserved for those that placed defenders. If there are open spots (meaning some people didn't place defenders) when attack phase starts, then it could be open to others. But if you aren't going to place defenders then you shouldn't be doing AW in the first place.

Players who place defenders during placement phase will have a reserved spot for attack phase..if there are any open spots left, anybody can join so long as you were in the ally before matchmaking began for that war.

And to answer last question, the “Assignments” by BG are just recommendations that leader/officers have setup for ppl. It does not prevent someone from joining a different BG (in either AQ/AW) from what they have been assigned (although in some alliances, you might have to answer for doing so).
