I had a persistent charge. I went through the process to activate it. I go into the fight and my pre-fight didn’t activate but the persistent charge was used.
This happened during alliance war around 4am est. against BWCV on tile 49.

4) Had both wifi and data on at the time
5) Game version 30.0.0
6) Alliance War (tier 3) fight vs a sasquatch on node 39
7) 5* 5/65 torch at sig 40
8) No boosts were active
9) I activated pre-fight and entered the fight but it didn’t trigger during fight. The persistent charge still got used up. It happened once so far this war but this issue has been going on at random occasions over the last few months/year.
I am aware of the short term solution to keep an eye out for the diamond pre-fight symbol and back out before starting the fight if it hasn’t shown - though I was in a rush this morning hence not noticing it after using my pre-fight. That said, it is appalling that this bug still exists after so long 🤦🏽♂️
