Considering I chose her from my abyss nexus crystal, over options such as sunspot and Havok. And if omega, archangel and Mags had been in there with her, I would still have been tempted to pick her. Basically, absofreakinglutely
Most immunities in the game, which can be maintained for 90-95% of the fight if you know how to use her.
Incredible evade counter, which again, can be sustained 90-95% of the fight
Extremely tanky, hits like a freight train with its brakes cut, plus has some nicher utility that is practically essential in act 6, such as prowess and power sting
Not to mention she has half decent power manipulation, where you can keep the opponent at low levels of power the entire fight through her heavy attack in diamond form and the taunt in telepath form, paired with the power rate decrease debuffs from the SP3
Not to mention the 50% concussion of the SP2, that while it’s not going to be used in every matchup, let me tell you, it’s come in handy a whole bunch of times
I use her every AW for multiple fights on my path and she typically follows me into every quest. She’s such a versatile and sustainable champion once you know how utilise her. Which unfortunately most people don’t.
Yeah I’d be happy. You have to consider the other options you could’ve had. My 7.1 nexus was 2 dupes or awakening wasp. I would’ve much rather had Emma Frost than that
She's a decent counter for alot of content but the best counter for almost nothing. So I'd be happy with her as like a pull after cavalier but if you're done with 7.1, I think you generally want to start focusing on specialist characters since your roster will be quite big already

A specialist like a champ that counters That's Gotta Sting, Encroaching Stun, Window of Opportunity Stun, Stunning Reflection, EMP Mod, Hazard Shift, All or Nothing, Mesmerize, Reversed Controls, and Prowess Nodes? Too bad Emma doesn't do that, huh?

I think OP meant the best counters to those nodes. I do agree she can do a LOT of nodes, but I think her forms make her a bit harder to sustain. Although, she can be a good option for those who don't have a counter to those nodes
A similar reason why I like Dragon man, not the best at one thing, but can handle a ton
The thing is that all those nodes I just mentioned are extremely niche. A champ that counters niche nodes very effectively is by definition, a specialist.
I would definitely want her before I tried to explore act 7 for all her versatility but considering how much garbage can come out of those Emma Frost is still a heck of a pull.
Unio then said it wasnt worth it, which birthed this argument. Which of course, as usual he is wrong about.
Also, how do you play her? Any tips? I have a r2 mutant gem which I was going to use on my awakened gambit for prestige, but now I am considering using it on her instead.
