I'm not a fan of long fights......again falcon only reduces DAA but crossbones with furies does AA reduction...so crossbones should be able to avoid magik's offensive limbo too
its too early to tell i think. not a lot of people rated falcons buff at first, but then youtubers and good players started showing just how busted he can be and like a month later he became everybodies new favourite. maybe it happens with crossbones, maybe not.
Something tells me that the results of this poll are going to turn around soon to be completely honest. Falcon has 100% DAAR right out of the gate, but it keeps going on and off. It has a cooldown. Crossbones takes a second to get the 100% AAR up, but there are a few notable things here. His AAR isn't just DAAR like Falcon's, it goes far above 100%, and it's actually very reasonable to keep 100% uptime once you initially get it. So no need to play around the opponent while your AAR's on cooldown like Falcon. Just get it, and keep it.
To add on to that, Crossbones also does more overall. Higher damage outside of evade matchups (maybe even higher damage there too, not quite sure yet), he doesn't crit which as we see from G99 and Guardian bypasses a lot of nodes, and a 90% debuff shrug chance at max sig.
That being said, Crossbones does have some more weaknesses than Falcon. He requires the ability to gain buffs, preferably throw heavies, and an extremely uncooperative AI could mess you up.
So I'm not entirely sure yet. I'm gonna have to see some more gameplay and test him out myself, but I have high hopes for Crossbones. He may very well have more uses.

This is really informative, thank you. I'm behind on Crossbones impact but this evaluation is excellent.

Thank ya dude. 👍 I think we'll just need to see how it all turns out. We'll know a lot more in time but again, high hopes. I'm going for this featured 6* and I'd love an Xbones so I can test out a higher level.
The real answer is it depends. I'm willing to put more stock in Crossbones rn. He requires a harder playstyle with proper spacing to punish specials and heavies with your own heavy, as well as being able to properly manage your furies with refreshes.
He has the downside of being reliant on buffs for his AAR but the plus is you can maintain 100%+ AAR uptime from the the first crit vs heroes.
His damage ramp up is much better in most matchups and he doesn't require excessively stacking furies for most fights, even keeping a moderate amount of furies is enough for short fights.
Then there's his sig that scales up to 90% shrug off chance, no crits for nodes like terminal velocity, access to multiple furies for caustic temper buffed up etc.
Against heroes (who make up a large majority of the roster) he's got a lot of potential. Hopefully they fix any bugs and synergy issues instead of letting it drag on
