Anyway, so the thing I hate about long sp2s is how their hit counts can occasionally handicap their use vs certain nodes. I was once lucky enough to get degen with cascading failure using dragon man- which you would think shouldn't be possible. Some cool sp2s have a lot of hits, so yeah. Otherwise I'd probably choose DM as the best sp2 in the game right now
That's a problem with a fair number of Specials. With nodes like Icarus or Rising Sun, it's almost impossible to use champions like Punisher-2099, as his Specials have so many hits.
Claire has the coolest Sp2 in the game by far imo. The only one who comes close is Guardian's sp2
I agree both of those Champs have really cool special 2s but there is no way you can say no one is even close off the top of my head Silver Surfer Black Widow deadly Origins Hyperion and even Champs like She Hulk and killmonger. There's way too many cool champ designs to say that to animations are Head and Shoulders Above the Rest in my opinion

I always loved Sentry’s SP2. So powerful and clean. Shame his abilities don’t reflect that.
Someone said Apocalypse SP2. I think it’s cool but I honestly love his SP1 animation more.
Man-Thing’s “slimer” SP2 is hilarious to me.
Mangog’s scream SP2.
iHulk has a satisfying SP2 animation that makes it feel like the Hulk.
But I love Doom’s SP2. Just complete obliteration of the opponent
