Cleanse Ability VS Apocalypse's Utility

Hey there,
Was wondering if this is a bug.
Apocalypse's abilities include 100% Purify Ability Accuracy Reduction
That should include the new Cleanse ability since it acts as a Purify passive in cases of champs like Jabari Panther and Shang-Chi
Looking forward to some reason for this interaction, thanks!

    Effects that are already on the opponent usually dont need AA to function (see Bleed continues to tick regardless of the ability accuracy of either opponent)
    Cleanse works the same way. It only checks AAR when its applied but not when it removes the Debuff

    Darn, could have written it down that Cleanse bypasses AAR or something. Else it seems that Apoco's ability should say "Cleanse Failed" or something like that.
    Same with True Strike and Nick Fury's Evade Charges.

    They commented on this before but jabari cleanse actually counters apocs purify ability

    They could clarify it in the description is all I'm saying - it's confusing without some extra context

    I find it odd that new skill champs are being equipped to counter Apocalypse. But yes, the wording needs to make that clear.

    Hopefully - if they really want to -
    They could say "Removes Debuff" rather than "Purify" if that were the case for this Cleanse Ability.
