With hammer he is cosmic, and he does have to have "skill" to fight in the gladiator arena......But to get the skill he has to maybe learn the "science" behind combat. Haha we all have no idea...no point second guessing and wondering.

Cosmic for sure, how can he be a skill champ ?

Well, based on Mjolnir being destroyed in Ragnarok, Thor would have to fight using skill, not his usual thunder-god-cosmic-power...

    So skill would make sense.

Kabam may introduce mixed types because without thors hammer he cannot harvest his powers and in the older comics he had an axe instead of his hammer and it was just as powerful.

You obviously haven't seen the movie yet... (the joys of living outside the US)

Yeah after watching the movie I would have to say cosmic would seem logical but great to see another sweet skill champ added to the champ roster! Faced him in the valor quests and he is visually stunning. Just like in the movie hahahaha

Reason I've asked is I have a 5* skill awakening gem and am thinking of spinning for Thor rather than Blade

Wow, that is a mistake if I've ever seen one, blades regen alone makes the games most sustainable champion, it's triple the heals of og wolverine in my 4* blade. The 5* does 1400 per second with the regeneration mastery at lol 80 Sig. Not to mention you choose when to use the healing not wait for a random buff to proct. There's already half a dozen damage champions that can clear labyrinth. Only Morningstar and x23 have even decent heals in 5*. Blade heals more than them put together. I'd go for blade, you will regret not doing it!!!!
