... making a detour to Cavalier?

... and then came the gates! Witness the great revival Act 6 Chapter 1 was restricted to 5-Star & 6-Star champs only.

Those beautiful 4-Star max rank champs had to take a back seat. In addition, round 1 introduced a global No Retreat node. Brought back memories of Slashed Tires. Ah ......

Summoners gathered to discuss Strategies & Tips.

Others detailed their wise knowledge on navigating Easy Paths and also suggesting Suicides. That is going to cost units, no?

Some time later Crossbones was buffed and Act 6 difficulty was adjusted.

Change on nodes to Crossbones fight.

So, here I am, yielded to the temptation for more power, I skipped Act 5 exploration.
Alas, I was not well prepared for the gruelling fights and exhausted all potions and revives. Had to use 214 units to take down Crossbones.

I should be patient and will be getting back to pay Sentinel a visit.

Ægon is at rank 4 and max sig already.

I am targeting the X-23, Wolverine path.
    Any recommendations are welcome.

Definitely go for cav. Get a few revives and then go for the regen path. Doom should be able to clear that entire path and CMM will do sentinel the fastest.

    And the path to cb?

My question is how on earth do you have almost 13k units?

I'm more concerned about the 29 unopened notifications. I literally can't stand that red bubble

If you have not already done it, take the left path to SIM. It will remove the Bane node on Crossbones.
Take note that WS regens a lot if your champ has buffs.

Grind arenas, open battlechips, complete at least the 4th milestone of every 22H solo event (except event quest for me), clear one path of event quest.
The units will just add up over time.

I will consider clearing it. :)

Thanks for this tip. Now I am thinking to take the Shock path instead as I suck playing against Unblockable. First I think I need to figure out Havok.

Id push that last quest as soon as possible since ur on the brink of cav. If you can reparry + have a havok counter, that quest shouldn't be terrible

Which is better against Havok, HB or NF?

I am most likely going to take the MK, Havok and the Shock 30 + Spectre path.
Taking Doom (lots to do), CMM, Medusa and wondering whether HB or NF and one more.

I can also try Ægon for the first two fights to see what combo can be carried over ... but this may be difficult.

    That units though....
I'm exactly at the same spot as you know, @winterthur , But I barely have any units.

Grind till 29 or 30. You should have sufficient by then to be Cavalier. :)

Hmm, what I'm trying to do now is... explore the whole of the Side quest.
I'm so broke on ISO because of the current rank-ups. Hopefully the season rewards promise me ISO too.
I really have resources for another rank-up, just pondering on whom to rank though.
I could take Ghost to rank 2, but the fact I don't have Wasp is.....
Other considerable rank-ups are Falcon to rank 2 and CGR to rank 4.

What do you think, @winterthur ?

I don't have all three of the champs so I really don't know their abilities (only know that they are very good). You may have to think about the paths and see who can really help. I am still pondering over it.

There is a price to pay for being unskilled (not knowing how to avoid a parry based game). That price is a total of 1,041 units. :(:s

After thinking hard, I finally settled on running the path using the first 5-Star ranked-up champ I acquired. Should this champ go to rank 5 and is the rank-up offer worth 12k units (which is what I wanted to consider in the upcoming 4 July offer)?

I also awakened Iceman but on hindsight I think it was unnecessary. I don't know how much I saved bringing Namor against Electro but he took two revives to take that champ down.

CMM is better than Medusa against the big bad boss since the latter is restricted to using L1 only. I counted three times I just burned units without inflicting any damage at all because I got hammered from the start. Then there were fights where I was able to at least intercept a couple of times (that feels good).

So, this was the nodes on the path I took (the third node varies for each champs).

Thanks to everyone who commented on this thread and especially @The_beast123, hope you finish up soon too.

I do confirm that if an offer for a progression tier is received, on moving up the next progression, a new offer for that tier will pop up.

Now, I should perhaps head back to crawling towards Elders' Bane or cast an eye on the Variants?

Firstly, Congratulations! Head up for Variants now!
Juicy rewards there, and Elder's bane would be way easier after that.

I can backdraft and make way through long fights... but all of them in that path have regen apart from the Arc overload.
Maybe I can give it a try?

    And,
Could you give me an idea of how hard the Sentinel boss was?

I think you should try and test out how bad the regen is.
Sentinel is just "tanky", bait L1 and try as best to avoid pushing him to L2 (as he gets to 100 analysis charge quickly). Also, don't forget you cannot use the same special twice and your power meter gets drained every 20s.
This fight cost me 644 units because I suck at intercepting.

Well, I can bait his SP2....
I too, am bad at intercepting, but hopefully will get through soon!
    Sincerely thankful to you!
