Gauntlet end time for player already in event. Can mod confirm please

Hi,

I have already finished Gauntlet and it's showing that event ends in about 6 hours. But an ally member who is almost done (at Void now) and is out of units (grinding) shows that event ends in 1 day and 6 hours.

Can any mod confirm if timer is extended for people already engaged in event ?

    Don’t think it is a glitch. That is how the normal monthly EQ typically works, and also some (not all, with Rifts or Labs normally having “hard” cutoffs) of the types of Side Quests.

    So long as you stay INSIDE the running quest, and it shows you that extended timer up top, it allows for that extra day in order to finish it up. So I’m guessing that is the case here too.

    But beware of glitches that might cause you to be kicked out of the quest, then you would be sunk.

    Fyi, Daily Cat quests also allow you to remain inside (and be able to finish) those quests after the otherwise-ending time (if viewed prior to starting the quest), but those don’t last an entire extra day, just a partial amount of a day (probably because reset time is overnight US time instead of other quests which reset midday).

    Is this 100% information? If 1 day is not a full 24 hours, then how many hours?

    Let said is said that’s with the event quset it wil end and u can’t go back in so I’m pretty sure it gone said clouse and u have no way in the gauntlet

    as I’m ben saying is if you get to where the quset is it wil show your the right time it a glitch in the game tgere kind Giv a day more but it really isn’t

    It's not a glitch. In many quests you have extra time to finish after the event ends if you are in it. But it's not worth the risk
    Trust me it wil works for daily. Event but no quset there end for a long time.

    Saw there was something here about the gauntlet extra time and well I'm mid way through and the rewards havd gone, I've put in almost an Odin of units and I can not see the chests anymore

    Why have a timer that adds an extra 24 hrs for the people that are still doing it but take the rewards away? No point in doing it if you're not going for 100%

    It's that or they end the quest and make you force exit. You'd rather they end the event and make you lose everything? You've invested almost 3k units and would rather they let you walk away with nothing?

    And why take the chance? As Zan0 said, just finish it and don't risk it. Or don't go in if you are unsure if you can finish.
    I'd rather there not be an extra timer even a few days before the event is nearly over, I was unlucky and couldn't play for a couple of days and was going off of the timer I was shown when I would enter, putting the extra 24hrs is good yes but why get rid of the rest of the rewards, why just not add the 24hrs extra time as people plan around the times they are shown and if that means leaving it to the last 24hrs people will but taking the rewards out is stupid.
