Dexterity buff interactions

This has been in the game for a very long time now, and I thought I would ask why. Whenever you use the dexterity mastery, as everyone knows, you get a precision buff that starts paused. When you hit someone, the timer starts, and lasts about one or hits hits worth of time. Whenever you have any node or champion that interacts with buffs, for example, burden of might power drain, EMP modification, or Mojo degen, the dexterity mastery counts itself as two individual buffs, first the paused one, and a second one whenever the timer begins. This makes any of the above matchups very difficult at times. I was just wondering why that interaction is there and do y’all have any interest in changing that very strange double buff thing?

    It’s because the way it was before, you got a new buff every time you dexxed so you would get one EMP charge every time you dodged a hit and I think this is the only way they could figure out to stop that

    They can likely do better with the new tech they used for Elsa’s paused precision buff.

    Well not really as when you start using it, its not as though you have 2 buffs, one goes away and one continues.
