Well that is annoying, I used 5/65 Apoc and almost got the solo but he just refused to throw his special at 6% HP and that fight wasn’t very fun so I’m not redoing it. The strat i used was start off, get the weakness with the sp1. You can hit him while he is reflecting until you get a poison on him due to doing no damage. Then I built to an sp2 and got the degeneration on him. Then the sp3 to lock the debuffs in. This allows you to get solid damage on sp1’s constant DOT and lots of attack prevention thanks to the weakness. From there it is just sp1 spam, make sure you end with a medium to get the poison and just play like a god. It is definetly possible to solo but I don’t feel like doing that cus this fight is annoying AF
Anyone know what rewards it would cost you to just skip this week?
Well Cavalier's are allowed to Skip One Week and still get the Level 6 Rewards, after that you'll lose more and more.
Level 6- "6 Star Nexus Selector" "3 25% T5CCF Selectors" (9 Points Required, so must Clear 9 Weeks)
Level 5- "6 Star Nexus" "2 25% T5CCF Selectors" (7 Points Required, so must Clear 7 Weeks)
(Keep in mind this is just for Cavalier's because they don't have access to the Side Objectives that Thronebreakers get, for Thronebreakers I think you need to do Everything if you want the Max Rewards)
Honestly this one freaking blew because I didn’t have a great counter for it. I used my 5/65 Claire and it took me about 7 revives, mostly due to the enormous block damage. Hopefully next week will have more counters available
Any champ that can deal poison works due to the node that allows you to place an armour break on special activation. Bait SP1 to actually access your specials, the SP2 will drain your power
not everyone has r3 ibom geez
I mean you know some mad lad is gonna clear it with a 4 Star Ibom
Why is the AI so freaking inconsistent with throwing Specials?! It's making this fight just plain annoying, doesn't matter if you have all the skill in the world if the AI wouldn't throw a Special no matter what...

This is supposed to be The Summer of Pain, not The Summer of Waiting an Hour for One Bar of Power...
Stealth Spidey is actually a Decent Option if you don't have any Poison Dealers, he's a Spider Champion so Heavies will crack Mysterio's Helmet, he get a Permanent Crit Chance bonus of around 1400 cause Mysterio is a Sinister Six Member, his Fury and Sp1 Precision let him deal some decent Damage, and if you use his Web Foam Cartridge you can attack in after the Sp2 to not be Missed. Not the most ideal option but he's there
Update: Finished with BWCV. Unfortunately, it took 10 revives, which is 5 more than it would’ve been if I hadn’t messed up so much in the last 10%.
Basically I took Mysterio down to 80% in the first run, so I figured I might as well push. Then to 70% with first revive because I messed up and got hit in the face with a heavy. Then to 50% until I died because of block chip. Next 3 revives took him to 10%, dying again to block damage because I was too cheap to dump any health potions in. Then... somehow I kept on dying without dealing any significant damage for the next 4 revives, only taking down 5% health in total. Finally, my 10th revive did the trick.
Moral of the story? First, use health potions. It’s worth the cost if only just to prevent from losing your groove because of block chip damage. Next, take a bit to calm down so you don’t waste a revive only to get clipped and die without even getting to a single special attack.
Don’t really want him to be nerfed at this point, and this is from someone who died a lot to him. He’s definitely doable, though certainly less accessible than last week. I’d put him a bit above Rogue in difficulty, though more because of champion restrictions than the actual fight. Don’t take the 10 revives thing as any sort of proof, I’m just bad at the game. Summer of Pain is supposed to be painful. Don’t try to water him down to Summer of Mild Irritation
ibom for the win - 2 revives cuz I don't have patience and don't really care as long as I don't use units. Will try to solo for the hell of it later in the week.
edit: Just to be clear 5/65 sig 46 iBom. Wish I had a 6r3 lol
Random thought with all this Poison Talk, what if we had a Poison Version of Guardian... As in can't Crit but Deals Direct Poison Damage in it's Place, maybe if we get a Rework on Abomination Classic. (He did just reappear in that Shangchi Trailer, so it wouldn't be the most out of no where Rework)

I mean she could still do it, it'd just take a year...

G99 once again proving her worth
I think Nick fury could also work for SOP, I died to poison but definetly a possibility if you don’t have any options
Not the most ideal option but he's there

Thanks for the inspiration lol, pushed me to finally get my solo

Couldn't get the idea out my head 😂 just gotta wait a few days...
Used 2 revive to finish this and spent 56 units for buying 2 10k health pots
