6.3.1 YJ Bugged?

Im doing 6.3.1 and when i got to the yellow jacket there is a node where i have an indefinite power sting (no timer just cant use specials) but whenever i dex his SP1 it applies power sting buffs on me (with timer) as if i were to get hit with it. Is this a bug? or is this actually how the fight is?

    If you are using other than mystic champ to fight him, what you said is then a bug.

    Is you are using mystic, that's how it works after YJ update
    YJ now apply power sting to mystic champs on special activation instead on hit.
