Compensation Adjustment

Compensation is always appreciated, but often times we have items that go right into the overflow and the short shelf life sees them being sold before they expire. Why not issue out crystals that have 100% drop rates for those items? That way the player base can open those items and use them at times needed…

Because this would set a precedent for players getting a guarenteed outcome in a game where reward outcones are based on RNG.
Glory is as good a way of you getting a choice in what you'd like. I can't see anything being any more sure than that.
BUT, I'd love to be surprised...

I’m not saying this is a bad idea, but it just hasn’t happened yet in the game, and the effort it would take to design/test new crystals that have not been in game before would just push back the date of compensation even further. I’d prefer they get the bugs fixed faster and just give us preexisting rewards, then maybe when the game is working fine, they can put someone on making certain items like this. There are a lot of other systems of reward disbursement that could solve the issue besides making new crystals, although I like the theory.

Cause they want things to expire so as to be able to sell these things again. This was the reason for the implementation of item limits.

Long long time ago, there wasn’t such limits and people were able to freely hoard hundreds of revives (I had 213 revives, iirc, when I came back to the game after a one year hiatus, after they introduced the item cap).

i guess the idea is that if those items are expiring, you don't actually need them (thats my guess at their thinking)

You can just leave the rewards on your inbox and claim them later. I don't know how long they stay there, but I doubt Kabam will delete the message on your inbox (not even you can do it before claiming the itens) and throw your rewards to waste. Worst case scenario Kabam will claim the itens for you and send it to your stash like they do with older crystals. I have been doing this with the compensation we're receiving weekly, since I'm always topped with glory to the max (and waiting for the cycle to reset so I get cheaper itens).
Downside is if you have crystal shards, potions, boosts and whatnot all mixed in one message, you're gonna have to postpone claiming everything.

Edit: Just found out mail may disappear, but rewards will be on your stash for 30 days even if you mail goes away.
