I can’t tell whether I’m just bad, but I can’t phase recoil anymore

I tried to 10 times earlier potion farming. I’m usually very consistent, but I failed all 10 of those times, so I’m wondering if the timing got changed. If anyone can confirm or deny this, that would be great
