Can't see champion arenas

I have been extremely excited about this month's champion arenas as they are some of my favorite characters from the comics but as i have found out this morning, the champion arenas are up and I'm currently unable to view or play them, this is incredibly annoying as i am free to play and un-willing to purchase grandmaster crystals with my own money, if someone could shed a little light on the situation that would be great.
