Bug Error failed to change name

Has anyone had a game id rename failed?

    It fails all the time for me whenever I try and change my in-game name, idk why. I even use the search function and check if there's a player who's taken that id but nope, there's no one with that id.

    is this a bug? but the August update can still work

    Hey @Lkap, there are a number of reasons why this may be happening. It's possible the name you're trying to use has previously been linked to another account which may be inactive now and that's why you're unable to see it on your end.

    We don't have direct access to in-game accounts here in the Forums. For something like this, I would recommend getting in contact with our Support Team. You can reach out to them from the game's home screen by clicking the gear-shaped icon in the top-left corner and then scrolling down to the button labeled "Support".
